Part of a regular Classic Rock feature focusing on various artists loosely fitting the rock genre, this retrospective showcases veteran writer Phil Wilding's picks from Cornell's career with Soundgarden and Audioslave as well as solo. Interestingly, he labels Scream as "avoid" - despite his own earlier rave review of the album in the same magazine. Perhaps a case of selective amnesia?
