Photo by Meg Enos from Sonic Rampage Not so much a House of Blues tonight as a house of laughter and jokes. Chris was in great good humour - even extemporised a bit of House of The Rising Sun - and the meet and greet looks to be the merriest yet!

By Lois R. "We heard everything crystal clear...and The Voice was in fine form. Chris hit that scream in Cochise and held that sucker falling to his knees...oh my lord! There were some priceless moments. Chris introduced You Know My Name and Peter started playing another song (can't remember if that was Say Hello 2 Heaven or not). Afterward, Chris was teasing him good naturedly. The whole band just flowed with it and laughed the moment off. Really good to see! Chris was fucking with the audience, of course. Someone was holding up a "Seattle" sign. He said that they could put it down, he'd seen it and their arms must be pretty tired. Then he said if that person was Seattle, then Yogi must be Florida and rattled off a bunch of Florida cities. Then Chris walked over to about where Peter stands and said something like, "And if I'm here then I must be Vegas! That's a good place to be! I'm in a good mood! And hey, I could be in...Bismark. That wouldn't be any fun." Just...goofy, and silly, and fun....
Photo by Meg Enos from Sonic Rampage ...when the show was over, it was time to wait for the m&g. It was held in the weirdest place...outside on the loading dock. There everyone is getting their moment with Chris and there the crew are loading up equipment. At one point the bus started backing up to be closer to the band and we had the lovely smell of exhaust for company while we waited our turn. Bizarre setting! Amazing time..." By Tosh "Well, as you can see, I saw Chris Cornell and his AMAZING band last nite and what a fucking show..........I got all the guys to sign my lil poster and was introduced to Chris by Laurie as the JEW OF THE SUMMERTIME!!!!!!!!! He laughed out loud at that, which was cool and then he asked, "So how long have you waited to tell me THAT???" Months actually. We got another group shot with MY camera but I won't have that available for a week.........all in all it was a GREAT experience!!! As I said I'd be ON THE RAIL and damnit I WAS on the rail the entire nite. Unbelievable vantage point. I mean looking right up and there he is........beautiful, and singing better than ever. The crowd loved him and he gave it back to us.........."
Chris, Peter, Yogi, Corey and Jason with fans - thanks to Tosh for the photo! By Malia "I gave myself the biggest headache from screaming so much! The show was incredible. I was in seats, not the floor, but I could see perfectly. Unfortunately there was a security guy right behind me so I couldn't pull my camera out at all to take pics or video. I had seen them confiscate a few cameras earlier and didn't want to take a chance. I have to say the band that is playing with him is really fucking good!...he sounded really really good and I was so happy to hear his voice. He seemed in a really good mood and he talked a lot during the show. So stoked I made it." Check out VegasRex's blog - photos and an account of one man's experience at the show.
