thanks to Hanna for the photo - see more here Soundgarden had played this Norwegian venue back in March 1994, when the show became the source of a fairly famous bootleg, The Garden Grows. He sold it out alone when he returned in 2007.

byHBrekke He was on fire that night, he was much better than the last time I saw him at Quart Festival. It was so great hearing everybody sing, cause at Quart there was hardly anyone who knew the songs. Highlights of the night was: Let Me Drown, Preaching The End Of The World and Jesus Christ Pose. He said he had only played it like one time before, and that was last night. So he didn't know it too well, a little bit funny when he suddenly stopped in the middle of the song and went: "Damn..how does it go now again..?" I had my sign with me (The Day I Tried To Live song request) and had it folded and put in front of the fence during the first couple of songs. Suddenly Chris comes over to me and points at me and the sign, and says: "Show it to me man!" and I gave it to him (the stage was like 1,5 meter away, so he was really close, like up in your face close!) So he read it and said: "Yeah maybe we'll do it later bro, we'll see" With a good smile on his face. It was awesome. He posed a lot for the camera and I got some really good shots with my mobilephone. I also took some audio. Though he didn't play the song he came over to me and shook my hand, said "maybe later" -like later on tour or something. And he gave me one of Peter's guitar picks which was on the floor. And he gave me the mic under the Cochise chorus (Take it out on me) and gave me the thumbs up, so that was cool. It was a hell of a night, my ears are still ringing and my feet still hurt. But being touched by God, or Chris Cornell as he is called these days just overcomes all pain I would have.
