Chris's TV performance filmed for Mexican TV last month is due to air on Sesiones on the Telehits Channel next Sunday, 3 February, at 10pm (thanks gabriel). According to members of the local street team who were invited to the taping, Chris and the band performed nine songs - No Such Thing, You Know My Name, Like A Stone, Can't Change Me, Say Hello To Heaven, Spoonman, Out Of Exile, Black Hole Sun and Burden In My Hand. However, we don't know whether all those songs will be featured in the show as screened. [Update: only Out of Exile was dropped from the show as transmitted - and you can see Say Hello To Heaven and Spoonman on YouTube (thanks Rockdrigo13]

Time to say goodbye to Bill Murrin's excellent Audioslaved.com, which retired from the web last night after more than five years' sterling service. Everyone's sad to see it go, Bill - but here's to lots of other good things in the future, and thanks for a wonderful information resource, a great forum and a real labour of love.

Here's another preview (and ticket link) for My Coke Fest in South Africa in March (thanks Sunny). Fans can also register their support for Chris on the page by voting him as the act they'd most like to see - other bands on the bill include Korn, Muse and the Kaiser Chiefs.

Chester Bennington and Rob Bourdan of Linkin Park have paid tribute to Chris Cornell, who supported them recently in Australia and New Zealand. You can read the interview from Australia's Herald Sun here.

Interviewer: Chris Cornell supported you in Australia last year. You lot would have been prime age to be Soundgarden fans.

CB: Yeah, it's weird. There are certain groups that haven't been around as long as we have, and we feel like, OK, this is our place. But when you have Chris Cornell opening for you, it feels disrespectful to a certain degree (laughs).

RB: We like to say we're "sharing" the stage. It just happens that he's playing before us.

Here's a glimpse behind-the-scenes on the Linkin Park Australasian tour - the band seem impressed by Chris's height (thanks Siby).

Here's a preview at Cape Town city guide Loner about Chris's forthcoming appearance at the My Coke Fest in South Africa in March.
