Guitarist Gary Lucas, who played much of the guitar on Carry On, will be joining Chris and his band onstage at the Beacon Theatre on Broadway, NYC on Wednesday August 1 (thanks Gary)

Chris and his band will be travelling to New Zealand and Australia in October to do a number of shows opening for Linkin Park. This site reports the Auckland show and according to Ticketek, he will then play Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane (tickets for a Sydney date as well as the Auckland show are available through Ticketmaster). It's unclear whether any more shows (with Linkin Park or solo) are to be announced for this far-eastern leg of the tour, but if so I'll post them on the tour page!

Those meet-and-greet winners who did not get their free tickets and passes at the Live Earth event in Hamburg are to be compensated. Due to events beyond the control of Chris and the band, the tickets were not issued and the expected meet-and-greet did not happen. However, each of the winners has received an apology and will be placed on the guest list for the Highfields Festival at Erfurt, Germany on 17 August. They are also being sent an autographed CD to help make up for their disappointment. (thanks Bill)
Management has confirmed that the July 13 date at the Depot, Salt Lake City and the July 14 date at the Fillmore Auditorium, Denver, have been postponed. A new date is to be announced later. According to Ticketmaster, existing tickets will be honoured, or refunds are available at the point of purchase.

On July 16 at 23.00 German time, Chris's live concert at Berlin's Kesselhaus on 20 May 2007 will be broadcast in full on Germany's RadioEins. (thanks Mo). On the same site, there's also a live acoustic session with a retrospectively amusing interview .... plus another short chat.

Don't forget Chris is performing as part of the global Live Earth benefit for the environment today. He is part of the Hamburg show which starts at 2 pm German time and will be streaming on the net here. According to Chris's MySpace, he will be appearing around 8pm German time.
